Summer Drama!

PD-3

As we battle summer’s heat waves, rising hemlines aren’t the only fashion change-ups on my mind at the moment. Sure, I’ve carried over some of my Go-To Spring pieces this season but I’m craving clever new style solutions for the toasty temperatures.

This summer I was thinking of some bold silhouettes and colors with some bohemian influences. I just feel that sometimes you just got to bring the drama, because like, why not? And by drama, I mean outfit drama, off course! Cause a scene, turn heads, step out of your comfort zone – you know, that kind of semi-scary but equally awesome thing called risk taking – try it, its fun I swear! I do not consider myself a big risk-taker when it comes to fashion but I love to try trends – even the kind of crazy ones and make them my own. In fact, when it comes to getting dressed every day, the crazier and experimental the trend is, the more I want to “Karisa-fy” it and make it work! Pattern mixing, crazy color combos, full and flirty skirts and bright lips – Totally my scene!

This look of mine is quite different from my previous looks. How do I explain it? Lets see- if a girl wears nude lips, almost no foundation and little mascara to work everyday, pretty natural and one day suddenly you see her in a bright red lip – You will notice it! (in a good way, hopefully) it’s sure to make an impact. Similarly this look of mine is like the red lips, sure to make an impact on all. It’s so different from my regular girl next-door looks that I have posted previously. It’s grungy, edgy and so experimental! Although I switched things up enough to make you notice, I still stayed true to my style while keeping you on your toes. It’s sometimes nice to try on a different side of your style while still making sure it is very you.

The cowled fuchsia cotton top is pure comfort blended with high style. The dhoti and the scarf tied around the head adds to the outfit theater completing this full look. The boho bella in me is showcased in this ensemble. I love the drama that this attire brings. The slight expose of the mid rift and the dainty rustic belt on the waist along with the black bulky shoes – so fun right? Aside from the pink lip and quirky accessories the finishing touch for this look for me was the Charles and Keith heels that I just can’t stop wearing, or gushing about!! I was a little skeptical to purchase them but they are so damn gorgeous and crazy comfy that they instantly elevate any look, making every outfit look more expensive and sophisticated and they’re a total classic that will never go out of style – definitely worth the splurge! So let’s kick-start the summer with some crazy outfits and make this summer your most fashionable ever! Be bold, be hip and stay cool!

Until Next Time

Love,

Bella Karisa
