There’s one fashion item above all else that never fails to call out its wearer as a bonafide fashion girl: The jumpsuit.
If you’re looking for a trendy addition to your wardrobe, the one-piece outfits are about to become your favorite summer time go-to staple! Go one in all and all in one in this swanky Mango jumpsuit. Whether you are a bandeau babe or want to show a bit of skin in a cut out creation, a jumpsuit offers you all the versatility. It’s definitely one of my favorite looks. Every time I go shopping, if I spot a piece I’m sure to enter that store and have a closer look. Most likely it ends up in my wardrobe too. I dig a good jumpsuit. I just feel that it’s a cool, refreshing and fun alternative to a dress. It’s probably the easiest piece you can ever wear and still look chic. Personally, I would prefer a more feminine look to a sexier one.
The most important thing while purchasing a jumpsuit is to acquire one in your true size and this one fits like a glove. The wide leg pants are super sleek while the fitted bodice and cutout adds a more playful touch that’s so different than any typical jumpsuit. This Mango outfit is a perfect example of what you call well dressed. Add a headband and you are back to 20s, remove the headband and you have a simple and comfortable yet sassy combination. This look has a major day to date night mileage. You can polish off the ensemble with a pair of pumps. I paired it up with raven black Steve Madden shoes that had a class of its own. Apart from this, you can wear tan suede pumps, khaki heeled sandals or camel leather heeled shoes. Make sure you choose your heels wisely because even the most utilitarian looking jumpsuit can be completely transformed by a good pair of heels.
Keep accessories modern yet minimal to capture the utmost sophistication. Glitzy metallic jewellery will be an ideal choice. A pair of aviator sunglasses will update your look. You can add a blazer for a more professional look, It will turn out to be a great work appropriate piece with a fashionable twist and for those of you who still can’t get their heads around how to work the jumpsuit look, a classic handbag always works.
Whether the style’s being worn on the red carpet by a celebrity instead of a glammed-up gown, or on the streets of Fashion Week by an editor or model, there’s a reason It-girls can’t get enough of the versatile one-piece. Fashion critics aside, jumpsuits happen to be the ultimate lazy girl go-to. With the all-in-one ensemble at the heart of your outfit all you have to do is carry it off with ease and confidence!
