Boho Bella!

Bohemian, trendy, earthy, handmade…that’s exactly what you’ll find in Designer Babita Malkani’s collection “‘Omayok’, which is inspired by the Alaskan Native Art. Here, I talk about boho fashion, beauty, hippies & gypsies, and a little bit about my bohemian life. To be honest, I did feel like a goddess adorning this gorgeous outfit!   That’s actually a big reason why I am so happy to share this look that I have put together.. It is all about embracing your wilder side, letting yourself go to love, to dream, to be yourself, to be creative and to think outside the box. I almost felt like I was playing somehow a new character. Kind of a Pocahontas vibe!

It’s a beautifully crafted, hand embroidered skirt that one can totally wear with many other pieces. The stunning  thread embroidery detail made me smile because I’m a detail oriented person and that’s what I look for when I buy something, beautiful details. The great part is that you can easily wear it with a simple blouse or tee. Since the skirt is a statement piece itself, you don’t need to put much emphasis on the top. Ive teamed it up with a plain black crop top to keep the focus on the beauteous floor length skirt. This is one of those pieces that doesn’t need anything but the right accessories.

This splendiferous neckpiece speaks for itself! The intricate laser cut detailing on a single piece of wood to create this fabulous ornament must have been a task. But the outcome is for one and all to see! The carefully curated piece is a must have for all the stylish girls out there. If you love statement pieces, then you should check out Babita’s beautifully designed necklace and quirky bangle collection which I particularly love. The essential is to never forget your own style and mix it up with the latest trends to create a look that will be unique.

I totally love the free-spirit vibe! – So go boho with this season’s trend! Do it up with an iridescent or monochromatic oversized crop top and a cute pair of tie dye shorts, floor length skirts or a quirky dhoti. Have fun with those long locks and accessorize with leafy, floral accents, a statement cuff or stacked up bangles and your fave satchel! Ditch the stilettos. Bring out those flats or wedges and “Go wherever the wind takes you!”
